Top Tips to plan your perfect Hop It Adventure!

Our hop on hop off service let's you design your own day your own way! And yes, that comes with a little bit of planning effort from your end. Don't worry though - we're here to help if you get stuck!

As a hop on hop off service, we've created a transport infrastructure in Victoria's wine regions that ensures you can get around safely between the different wineries & explore what each region has to offer. Where you hop off is completely up to you!

10 Tips to plan your perfect day:

You can visit a maximum of 4 stops (Bellarine route from Geelong 5 stops). We recommend the following:
Group size 1-3 travellers: 3-4 stops
Group size 4-7 travellers: 2-3 stops

Use the venue guide (2nd page after the timetable) to plan your day. Or head here to access all venue guides. These guides will have direct links to the each venue so you can book your experience. They also let you know what you can do there (are there food options available, etc.)

Make bookings beforehand. We can't stress this enough, the majority of venues require you to have a booking even on less busy days. This ensures that:
- You have the best day possible!
- Venues are not turning you away because they’re fully booked or understaffed & closed on less busy days!
- You can get served straight away, making the most of your time on the Hop It bus!
VERY HOT TIP: The majority of venues prefer if you book directly on their website. Some may not be able to get back to you in time if you try calling.

There are NO bad stops! We've picked some of the best wineries for our timetables. You can't go wrong, it all comes down to your particular taste!

Plan a food stop or pick venues that offer food options with your tasting experiences. The venue guide will be handy to help you plan this!
